Every CP-1000 comes with a shut-off valve and an integrated system bypass. The bypass simplifies installation and provides the means to easily route water past the system in the event purification is not desired (washing the car, watering plants, etc). Even the installation fittings are the best in the industry, made of Schedule 80 CPVC and certified to NSF-61 standards. (Be careful of competitive systems that come with parts designed for pools and hot tubs, not drinking water.) All parts are made in the USA.
