| * | Replacement is recommended after 10 years of service, regardless of amount of water treated. Your water filtration system life is dependent upon the types and amounts of contamination present in the water. Water capacity rating assumes typical municipal water quality conditions. |
| ** | The CP-1000 is designed to prevent the occurrence of scale buildup and the growth of bacteria and algae within the system. With the exception of the 1 micron (1 × 10–6 m) micro filtration in Stage 1, the CP-1000 Central Water Purification System is not otherwise designed to address scale, bacteria or algae in the incoming water. |
Besides employing a synergistic blend of the best medias from the best sources in the world, this 5-stage mechanical water filtration system utilizes the latest, most innovative and most efficient water distribution system.
Our advanced Media~Swirl™ system evenly distributes the water to promote full contact with the media. The use of two distributors ensures dynamic action between the water and media, allowing all of the media to filter water at its best.
This unique water distribution system plays an important role to optimize flow rate, maintaining the highest possible system water pressure.
The CP-1000 overcomes the threat of water channeling that can be a problem in similar systems with large media beds. Our Media~Swirl™ technology ensures that the water will never flow in a river-like pattern through the tank and bypass the majority of the media.
The CP-1000 utilizes two Media~Swirl™ distributors to segregate the inorganic and organic filtration stages. This contains complementing medias together and allows for their synergistic interaction.
The Media~Swirl™ system also plays an important role to promote and maintain optimal water-media interaction throughout the filtration system. At each distributor, the water enters into a swirling motion allowing it to mix the media and spin its way up through the tank. The resulting influence is similar to the most optimal water purification methods performed within nature itself.
